Intero Restaurant

Squarespace Restaurant Website

Squarespace web design for a restaurant

intero restaurant, austin texas

A year after opening, Intero needed an updated website that reflected the quality of their restaurant. Owners Krystal and Ian were happy with the Squarespace platform, especially the ability to quickly update their daily menus, but wanted to level up the design.

Intero’s previous website didn’t adequately represent the restaurant’s warmth or contemporary take on Italian fare. The new website layout was designed to be easy to use, as well as reflect the care and gratitude found in the food at Intero.

We utilized a full height gallery slideshow to highlight the restaurant and Ian’s delicious food, integrated OpenTable reservations into the site so patrons can easily reserve a table, provided clear info on parking, and incorporated images of Krystal’s amazing artisan chocolates (the perfect web design fuel!).

Elegant Simplicity

Voted the #5 Best Restaurant in Texas by Texas Monthly, Intero conveys an elegant simplicity that was important to carry through the design of the new website. The redesigned Squarespace website showcases consistent, clean design to keep the focus on the cuisine.

CUSTOM CSS

We used a few touches of custom CSS on the Intero site. In particular, we turned the Announcement Bar into a permanent fixture on top of the site (announcing Brunch) by removing the close box.
