The process

  1. Reserve a Website to Go template with a 50% down payment

  2. Set a date for your site work, “GO DAY”

  3. Provide your content, images, and domain info 2 days before GO DAY

  4. Be available by phone or video chat for periodic check-ins on GO DAY

  5. Pay Squarespace for your hosting, make final payment to me, then your site goes live

Websites to go (including logo and brand guide) cost $799 + tax, payable in two installments.

FAQ

Can I change the colors, fonts, layout on my logo/website?

Yes. If you don’t care for the color palette, we can generate a new one. This requires changing the art files for your logo as well as updating the color scheme for the website (links, buttons, text, hovers, etc.) Same goes for fonts and layouts. Most changes incur a $100 fee.

What if I can’t get you the text and images before GO DAY?

I reserve a whole day just for you! This means that I’ve blocked out my calendar to focus on just your website. If you aren’t able to put together your text and images ahead of GO DAY, I’ll have to charge a rescheduling fee of $150 and we will reschedule to another day that works for both of us. If you need a copywriter, let me know in advance and I can put you in touch with a good one. If you need help selecting images, I can do that too!

Can I add pages?

Of course! We will likely have time to add a page or two on GO DAY, and for more we can create a plan to add them later. Extra brochure (text) style pages are $75 each. Event or app integration pages cost a bit more depending on their complexity.

Can I add on business card design?

Absolutely! Let me know what print service you prefer (VistaPrint, Moo, etc.) and I’ll create a business card template for you to upload for $50. If you need letterhead, invoice templates, or other print work, just let me know!

I changed my mind. Is my 50% deposit refundable?

If we haven’t yet scheduled your GO DAY, I offer a 50% refund of your initial payment. If I’ve already blocked out a day for your website work, I offer a 25% refund. No refunds after that.

Will anyone else use the same Website to Go design?

Nope. Once a design is purchased, it is retired from Websites to Go. You get a custom website without the custom price tag.

Why are Websites to Go so much cheaper than regular website and branding packages?

Great question! My normal website packages start at $1600 with branding add-ons starting at $600. Websites to Go are so efficient (what you see is what you get) that I can offer them at a vastly discounted rate. Changes to colors, fonts, or layouts do require an extra charge, but even with a few changes your website and branding package is about half the cost of a traditional package.
