In 2021, Squarespace rolled out the Accordion Block and it has been a game-changer! If you are looking for a full walkthrough, you can check out my post on how to add an accordion block to Squarespace. But if you are here just because your descriptions look weirdly narrow, keep reading.

Expand the text in the Squarespace accordion description to the width of the question

One odd default setting is that the accordion block description is set to Medium Width, which can look a little weird if you have a longer description.

Fortunately, this is an easy fix. It doesn’t even require code. The setting is just a little hard to find:

1. Access the Squarespace Accordion Block Settings: double click the block to access this, or roll over the block and select the pencil icon.

2. Click on the Design Tab.

3. Change the Width setting from M to L, or click the three dots for more granular control.
