The Fastest Way to Create a Website Quiz
If you want to add a quiz to your Squarespace website but want to speed up the process, I’ve been loving the AI Quiz generator from Interact. Like most AI assistants, it doesn’t give you a perfect finished quiz, but it makes the process much faster, easier, and a lot more fun.
Here’s an example of how I’m using it. I want to create a quiz for my Squarespace Template Shop to help people choose the right template for them but I don’t want to start from scratch.

Click “create a quiz” to get started and follow the prompts.
How much would you like AI to help with the quiz?
I chose I have a quiz idea, but not a specific title. For my idea, I chose "I want a quiz that helps site visitors choose the best website template to buy to match their business." But if you have a specific title already, go with that choice instead.
Input your specific URL
The next prompt asks for your website URL, but be careful here. I actually wanted the quiz to focus on my template shop, so I entered in the link to the shop rather than my homepage.
Choose your Title
If you didn’t come ready with a title, the quiz builder will give you a few choices. I chose “What’s your Website Personality? Find the Perfect Squarespace Template!” But don’t worry if you don’t see the perfect title yet… you can always change it later.
Choose the Type of Quiz
You can opt to:
determine a quiz taker’s personality type
assess knowledge or expertise on a topic
recommend products or services
or, let the quiz builder choose for you
I opted for the product recommendations.
Decide on the Questions
In the next two steps, you’ll be prompted on whether you have specific questions to include and how many questions you want. I opted to let AI generate questions for me and chose the default 5 questions. (Again, it’s super easy to change these later!)
Give AI specific Topics or Audiences
My templates are for specific audiences, so I entered “The quiz should ask if they are a service provider, coach, or author.”
Review and Edit Your Quiz
After just a few moments, you’ll have a great starting point for your quiz.
First, check the Questions and see if they need any tweaks. Mine we actually great!
Then, check the Results. The AI generator did a great job with my Sway template, but I needed to swap out the other results for specific templates in my shop. This took much less time than if I was created the quiz myself from scratch, so no complaints!
Next, click Edit Result Correlations and make sure the answers for each question map onto the correct result(s).
Adjust the Design
Customize the look and feel of your quiz. Adjust the color scheme, change fonts, add images, and tweak the layout to align with your brand identity. Again, so much faster when you have a starting point!
Set up Lead Generation (optional)
Toggle ON lead generation to gather information from quiz-takers. This can include email addresses, names, and results that you can use to grow your email list.
Publish and Share
Finally, when you are happy with your quiz, publish it. You can then share the quiz on social media, email, or embed it on your website.
